Adam embarked on his career as an author unintentionally when his wife Lynda became ill and had to give up work. She is an avid reader of crime fiction and he began writing the book in the hope that she would be drawn into finishing it. The book so impressed Darin Jewell of the Inspira Group that he agreed to act as his agent and within only six months it was published by Authorhouse.
